Darkness to Light raises awareness of the prevalence and consequences of child sexual abuse by educating adults about how they can prevent, recognize, and react to child sexual abuse. The website provides child sexual abuse articles, book suggestions, mandatory reporting laws, an internet radio talk show and access to educational materials.

Is It Really Love? Teen Brochure
This 20-page, full-color booklet looks at healthy relationships through the eyes of teenage women. Each section includes quizzes on subjects such as knowing yourself, beliefs and values, respect and disrespect, understanding real love, managing feelings, and making decisions. The booklet also provides information on staying safe, how to help others, and useful contacts. Great for classrooms and discussion groups. Available in English and Spanish. An accompanying wallet card is also available

Powerful Beyond Measure
Powerful Beyond Measure is dedicated to empowering survivors of abusive childhoods, rape and domestic violence. The website provides factual information, resources, publications, a questionnaire, and a national predator database. The website was founded and operated by a former child abuse victim.

The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) is the largest anti-sexual assault organization in the nation. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Online Hotline, the nation's first secure web-based hotline that provides live and completely confidential help to victims through instant messaging with trained staff.

WEAVE Inc.
Weave provides education and information about the domestic violence and sexual assault. The organization provides a 24 hour crisis line which receives over 20,000 calls annually.


 

2008 Condom Cover Art Contest

Downloaded your entry form English or Spanish.

There will be six prizes of $500 each for the best designs from young artists in this statewide contest to increase awareness about Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and condom use by designing an eye-catching, educational condom cover.

All of the six winning designs will be printed in full color on thousands of condom packages that will be handed out at clinics throughout California. This contest is open to any person under the age of 25 living in California.

All entries must be postmarked by July 01, 2008.
