- I learned about sex on the playground, but my questions were never fully answered. You see, my family was strict and my sex ed teachers felt awkward at best. I didnt really learn about sex until I started having it and by that time...it was a little too late. These days I am a happy and healthy young woman, but the side effects of an inadequate sex education could have been easily avoided.
