About Us

The purpose of TeenSource.org, an online resource developed by the California Family Health Council, is to improve the health and well being of young people in CA by providing non-judgmental, accurate, and reliable sexual and reproductive health information and resources.

TeenSource.org was launched in July 2001 as a resource for teens and young adults between the ages of 13 and 24.   In addition to accurate, reliable information about STDs and birth control Teensource offers these features:

  • The Hookup: weekly sex info & life advice sent via text message.  As the online home for the Hookup, Teensource provides expanded information on each week’s tip.
  • Know Your Rights: a section about the rights of CA teens to privacy and reproductive health care. This section is supported with funding from the ACLU.
  • Find a Clinic: Looking for a clinic in California?  In this section visitors can enter their zip code and find a clinic nearby that provides reproductive and sexual health services.
  • Blogs and videos: Teensource strives to provide accurate, reliable information in interactive and engaging formats for youth.  You can also check us out on Facebook, and Twitter.

CFHC is a nonprofit organization striving to improve the health of Californians by ensuring access to quality, comprehensive, reproductive health and family planning services.
