Last week Chris Brown apologized for “the situation” in a video on Youtube. In case you had forgotten, the “situation” was the time he beat up his girlfriend Rihanna badly enough to send her to the hospital. He later faced criminal charges from the assault. The video is vague and disappointing because he never mentions what he did and barely recognizes that biting, hitting, and other forms of assault are never ok. The real message seems to be “ok now I’ve said I’m sorry, please go out and buy my records.” Is sorry enough? How do other youth feel about dating violence? See what other youth are saying.
