Interestingly enough, the players who have modified the game made it so only teens can be with other teens. Mods are developed by players who then upload the mods to share with others, sometimes with unexpected results. For example, in this game, if the new young parents are released from the hospital past curfew the police will arrest them, if the teens aren't married the baby won't recognize its father, and with an early version of the mod, both teens could get stuck in bed and pregnant teens could go into "perpetual labor."
