Alright boys, so this whole sex ed thing can get very focused on periods, condoms,  and birth control pills, and while they are important, we know you don’talways want to hear about these things.

Well gents, sit back relax and continue reading for now is your time to learn the male specific facts! It’s Men’s Health Month, so in honor of that here’s some info just for you:

Did you know testicular cancer is the #1 cancer affecting young men ages 20- 34? While that may still seem like light years away, it’s really just around the bend! Here are some common symptoms and what you can do to keep yourself safe.

 

Symptoms:

 

*A often painless lump, swelling, or thickening of the testicles

 

*bloating or aching of the lower abdomen, groin or scrotum

 

What you can do:

 

*give self exams! Check your balls regularly for any abnormal bumps!

 

*have a doctor examine your testicles during your regular physical, this may seem awkward but earlydetection is less awkward than late!
