Give thanks this Thanksgiving by showing your partner you appreciate them.

What are you thankful for? Sometimes we forget to show others how truly grateful we are for having them in our lives. Here are some things you can do this holiday to let your partner know that you value and appreciate them:

Be Thoughtful. What is something your partner really loves? Something that might really excite them or make them feel extra special? Even if it’s just something small like a sweet note or flowers, sometimes the little things can make a big impact. Take some extra time to show they’re on your mind.

Give compliments. Remember all those amazing qualities you used to love so much about your partner? Occasionally over time we forget to pay as much attention to those things. Take some time to let your partner know how funny you think they are or what a kind heart you think they have.

Don’t forget to tell them you love them. Of course, the most important! Not just a simple “I love you,” but you could even follow up with a, “No, I really mean it.” Make sure they know just how much they mean to you and how sorry you are if it’s not always so clear sometimes. Hugs or kisses, or any other kinds of affection that you are comfortable with in your relationship are definitely nice as well. And that goes for both sexes! Everyone loves to feel loved.

And just to be on the safe side, don’t forget that TeenSource offers FREE condoms through our Condom Access Project!

Have a safe and loving Thanksgiving.
