Having sex? Use condoms + another form of BC 2 prevent pregnancy & STDs

Romantic movie? Check. Candles lit? Check. Condoms and birth control ready to go? Double check!

When you are "getting it on," make sure you put it on too! Using a birth control method like the IUD, the implant, or the pill is a great way to prevent pregnancy. However, these methods don’t prevent STDs, which you are still at risk for unless you use a barrier method. Using a condom every time you have sex is double protection against pregnancy, and it also protects you from getting or spreading STDs.

Not sure where to find protection? Head to your local pharmacy for condoms (there is no minimum age and you don’t need a prescription or ID) or find a clinic near you to pick up condoms plus any other BC method you are looking for, including emergency contraception. Being prepared and ready to go will definitely impress your special someone, and probably help set the mood too!
