Christmas Break is coming up and sometimes it is a bit hard to step back from work during this time.
If you are in college application season, those applications are often due during break, maybe making it harder to relax during this time. Sometimes, schools have their finals after break, which also would make it difficult to have time for yourself.
No matter, Winter Break is supposed to be a time to relax, be with your friends and family, and cherish yourself.
Here are some ways that you can rewind and have the best Winter Break ever!
- Plan Accordingly
This time should be a period away from school, work, and anything that may weigh you down. Try to finish your work accordingly and not leave any loose strings anywhere before your break. Even if you think that you will do it after break, you may be thinking about it during break, which will put a damper on yourself.
If you have to study, try your best to not think about the content until the end of Winter Break if it is imperative. Attempt to distract yourself with other things that you like or fill your time by spending time with family. It’s good to take a step back and come back to work refreshed. It will lead to a more productive work session and a happier you.

Have a Movie Night! Put on something fun and watch with your friends and family for a good laugh. Maybe lay out some delicious snacks or combine with cookie decorating and make a whole day out of it.
